Sure, some say pro bass fishing is challenging. Frisbee golf (FROLF) has its perils, hot yoga does as well, but nothing is as frighteningly difficult as answering Three Questions from BassFIRST.

This edition’s brave soul is none other than Yamamoto pro Brett “The Hitman” Hite. Yes, this winner of multiple tour-level events has the intestinal fortitude to stand up and answer Three Questions. Did he survive? Read on and find out.

DL – What is more important to you in professional bass fishing, winning titles or making money?

BH – Titles. We all need money. Money is relevant in our everyday lives. You need it to survive in our society. It is part of normal life, but you can lose it all. You can never have your wins taken away from you. You will always know that at that one point that one moment in time you were at the absolute top level of the sport beating the best anglers.

DL – What Summer Olympic sport would you like to compete in?

BH – Golf. It is a challenging sport and I’m no good at it. I like to golf. It is fun, but what I do on the course, I’m not sure you can call it golf.

DL – Do you prefer dessert or steak?

BH – That is a really tough question, geez. I’d have to say I can’t pass up a really phenomenal steak. I love a bone-in filet, but I love dessert, too. Like some sort of a la mode dessert. I’m an ice cream guy.

A really good steak followed by an a la mode dessert. That sounds good. I’m really hungry now.
