Riley Crushes the Winnie Eyes to Retain Lead

Flat water and calm winds usually don't mean a hot bite, especially on clear water. Winnie definitely destroyed that concept as multiple weights in the 20 pound range and over were  CRR'd on the stage tonight at the AIM International Walleye Championship Day two weigh in.

Todd Riley walked onto the stage last, and spoke about his long unfulfilled desire to lead an event by so much weight he could "sleep in" a bit on the last day. When Master of Ceremonies Keith Kavajecz rang up his total, it was obvious to the crowd he had reached that goal with a weight of 33.07 and a total of 67.30 pounds, but when asked if he would sleep in he responded; "You kiddin me?"Flat water and calm winds usually don't mean a hot bite, especially on clear water. Riley Dominates

Riley leads by an incredible 18.13 pounds.

John Schneider held on the second with a total weight of 49.17. John is fishing big redtails, a presentation some of the local sticks insisted wouldn't take big Winnie walleyes. It's working for John!

Third is held by Jim Carroll with 48.98, fourth is David A. Andersen with 48.58, and fifth is Jason Przekurat with 47.97.

The cut to the top 27 was executed today. It took25.99 to make the cut, and Joe Okada was the Pro holding that position at the end of the virtual weigh in. See http://www.aimfishing.com for the AIM Championship leaderboard.

AIM Championship coverage begins tomorrow at approximately 8 AM with the AIM GPS Pro track system. The top 5 anglers will have a GPS Module attached to their rigs, allowing fans to watch their favorite Top 5 Pro on the water all day during competition. Pro Track displays the actual, real time position of the top 5 all through the day live on the AIM Fishing website.

Watch for the final day AIM International Championship stealth cam video, AIM on the Water coverage, Pro tracker coverage, and much more on AIM's website!
