With a little bit of a change in the weather today the cloudy skies and east north east winds up to 12mph should make things interesting. The launch this morning ran smoothly and the boats were heading out by seven am. Most of the teams we talked with are planning on sticking to the same game plan as yesterday but may move a bit more to find active fish.

The weigh in will begin at 3 pm at the Huron River Boat Ramp (41 Cleveland Rd East, Huron, OH.

Mike Defibaugh moved up from 22nd place to take the win at the 2017 Cabela's National Walleye Tour event on Lake Erie. Ryan Buddie held on to second place and Korey Sprengel moved up 22 spots to take third place. Today's bite proved to be a tough one with the high winds and 6 to 8 foot rollers through out the day.
