I have a Pro-tiller Crestliner that I am looking to put a 9.9 kicker on it. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that has this setup. I talked to the dealer and they don't recommend connecting the kicker to the main motor because the main motor is a tiller. What would your recommendations be to steer the kicker. If I set it up as a tiller model, I would not be able to effectively reach the tiller handle of the kicker because of the position of the seat. I would have to keep constantly getting up to steer the kicker.

If you have a trolling motor on the boat that has auto pilot use that to steer and the kicker as the power. thats all i use.

I mount my kicker starboard on my tiller
This way you can reach it from your seat port is weird. Do not connect it steer each separately

I use the PowrTran TailFin Wireless steering on my tiller Yamaha kicker. I don't like to fight my wheel especially hooked to an SHO without digital power steering.

The TailFin has been awesome so far!
