Help your friends on here to get some direction on where to go with family or friends every weekend this winter. Its a fun time of the year if you are doing something. I will start February 7th--- Fort Fremont Marine, snowmobile snow cross races on the wolf river. Free to watch. Available will be Food, Beer and more. Member Posts: 1195 Location: Orland Park, IL | Feb 22 is the Fisherman Cove restaurant on ice bowling extravaganza. About 5 miles south of Pipe on 51. They recently redid the bar, with was really nice. Nice and long. And you bump into some characters there.(Last time time I ran into Jesse Beuchel...go figure...I fished with him inthe FLW tour event outta bay de noc). They will be bar b quing and have a band. Should be a fun time. Me and the 7yo boy are gonna sign up. | ||

They usually have various types of fishing seminars and such. Vendor booth's, etc. And of course the dinner. Sheboygan Walleye club should be there promoting themselves and their raffle. | ||

The Winnebago Lakes Council hosts at least four events annually, collaborates with like organizations in presenting events, and promotes events of other organizations with relationship to the lakes. All About Sturgeon Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 7 p.m. Stone Toad Bar and Grill 1109 S. Oneida St., Menasha, WI. Just prior to sturgeon season, Ron Bruch, DNR Fish Biologist and local angler Dick Koerner will talk about the biology, management and sport of the sturgeon fishery. The public is invited. Fishing Workshops Thursdays February 12,19,26, 2009, 6:30-9 p.m. Fox Valley Technical College, 150 Campbell Road, Oshkosh Room 133 This is the second year for this popular series. Topics include fly fishing for walleyes, seasonal movements of walleyes, and setting up sonar/gps units. Presenters are Ryan Standke, Rob Teske, Kendall Kamke, DNR Sr. Fish Biologist and Chris Gasser, Lowrance Representative. Members only. Once his picture came up, my computer froze then started making weird sounds and smoke started pouring out. I could not get it to reboot properly until I downloaded an old picture of Jerry. THis Weekend... thursday night threw sunday.. GREEN BAY shopko hall by the stadium.. the RV and camper show is on.. reasonable to cheep to get in.. kids free and a nice walk inside... cool riggs for the outdoors. no boats or fishing stuff but some great destinations as far as camping resorts and lakes in wisconsin.. and Rvs of course.. fun for the fam.. poop out the kids. | |||
