Location: Orland Park, IL | yeah, I started him early and really watched the burnout. Didnt want him scarred for fishing too long with the old man. Turning point came a couple of years ago. He was freaking out real bad about the lake flies. The typical bago mothers day hatch. When we finally crashed, I said "just close your eyes and dream of walleyes". He still remembers. I told him when the lake flies are out, walleyes are bitin.
So the next day he comes in from the outside, just about covered in lake flies. They are all over him. he says, "lakeflies are here, lets go fishing". From that point on, its been a mellow outing after outing.
You should see mannerinos grandkid and that superman rod at the last AYA tournament on the illinois. He was SMOKIN fish. We were all yuckin it up and clapping. He will remember that for awhile. |

Location: Chicago IL. | HAHAHA He still talks about it today. I just wish it was a sheephead tourney,nobody would touch us. If you want to really laugh, he has 3 poles, spiderman,batman, but NOBODY touches the superman pole because that is only used on tournament day. Is that the best or what. |
