Good Afternoon,

Well...summer is finally winding down and it is about time to start thinking about fall fishing again. Hopefully the spring and early summer floods will position the fish in more traditional locations and make for a great fall bite.

New for this year-there will be 4 qualifying events, two on the Mississippi and two on the Illinois River. Ending the season with a championship on the Miss. Team of the Year standings will be determined by accumulative points of three of the four events. However, you may fish all four and throw out your less favorable finish.

2014-15 Schedule-

1st Points Qualifier 9/21/2014 - Albany, Il. - (Albany Public Ramp) FYI.....there is a large charity bass tournament on 9/20 out of Albany. So, as you plan your pre-fish you may want to avoid the Albany ramp.

Hennepin Marine Fall Classic 11/1/2014 - Hennepin, Il. (Hennepin Public Launch) A dinner will be served compliments of Hennepin Marine and staff immediately following the weigh-in.

2nd Points Qualifier 11/2/2014 - Hennepin Il. - (Hennepin Public Launch)

3rd Points Qualifier 11/16/2014 - Dubuque, Il. - Hosted by The Bait Shack
(Schmitt Harbor-McAleece Park and Recreation)

4th Points Qualifer 03/22/2015 - Spring Valley, Il. (Barto Landing)

2-Day State Championship 5/2 & 5/3 2015 - (Mississippi River)

*Sample payout based on 30 Boat Field*
1st-$2050 / 2nd-$1150 / 3rd-$850 / 4th-$650 / 5th-$500
6th-$300 80% payback to 20% of the field!
$5 of Each entry goes toward Team of the Year Fund

Boat entry fees have been increased by $30 this year to: $230 per entry or $250 the day of the tournament. A $20 late fee will be added to any and all entries that are received on tournament day.

Optional Big Fish Pot each day: $20 per team / 100% payout to 3 spots. 1st/50%, 2nd/30% and 3rd/20% of the purse.

Same as last year a $25 membership fee is required to fish any or all IWT events. $10 of each entry covers your Spring Valley Walleye Club membership. The balance of the $15 goes into a the championship fund with 100% payback.

We are really excited to kick off the new season in Albany! We have had some really great events there and can't wait to get the season started. Boat numbers will be determined by the order in which I receive them. So, get your entries in as soon as you can. Boat #1 is secured by last years Team of the Year. The remaining spots are first come first serve!

Thank you to all for your continued support of the Illinois Walleye Trail!

We look forward to another great year and could not do this without the help of our sponsors!
