Sworrall, I see the schedule, I see the payouts, and I see the entree fees moving in the right direction. Kristine gets thrown under the bus everytime someone doesn't like something. This time she should be patted on the back. From a business stand point she has just taken the league guys and gave them a playing field that cost the same to enter as a league event and cuts there travel costs in half with a partner. Sends them to waters at the right times for good bites. I think many ex-leaguers will team up for this. Shoot, I am even thinking about it. Great job Kristine.

NOW, if we can talk AIM into a jr. circuit.

I'm curious, where did you guys see that the MWC dropped their entry fee?

and in good fun, how are the MWC guys ever going to break even with a lower entry fee?

Here is the letter that I recieved. It says The MWC will continue with its three divisions (Central, East and West) but has lowered their entry fees from $800 per team down to $650 per team.

Payouts are in the article posted today here too. Looks great!

Last I knew, Kristine was not involved in the fishing at all anymore. She still does other types of events but not fishing. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

I emailed Kristine to find out if that was true and here is her response...

"I’m still the Executive Director of the MWC and will be emcee on stage for all ten tournaments and TV host for 4 television events. Jeff is now tournament director as you know…so I don’t have the day-to-day planning of each tournament or the hands-on logistics at each event. But Jeff reports to me and I’m definitely involved in running the circuit and working with sponsors, etc.

And yes, I still do a lot of other things for our company, too.

We all have our opinions bud and I do like THIS decision. Payouts still look good even with the decreased entry fees. Now open up the entire Winnebago System and I am really on board.

I dont think that will be an issue this year. The NTC is running concurrent with it and to seperate the 2 would be difficult. On the other hand with a potential of 450 boats in the event, they will need the extra acreage to host that many with out pricky the local tribe.
