I was a Tews Two mto pick up a motor when a call came that Eddie had passed away. Eddie was a fixture in the fishing world for a long time in fact I think he invented fishing. He will be missed Jim

That is terrible news. I have been buying stuff from Ed for decades. He will be missed.

That is very sad to hear. Ed always took great care of me. I remember when I bought my new Jiffy from him last year, I asked him about the warranty and he just said, "If you buy it here you don't have to worry about the warranty".
That was the way it was with him.

Wow! I feel bad for all the people who met Ed and how he graced all of us. Ed was a stand up guy and believed in doing things the right way. He will be sadly missed.

My heart felt condolences to all the family and friends.

Brad, call me soon.

Very sad news. Ed was one person who never let things get to him. Even after his dialysis treatments he would go right to the store and be at his table. Good man.

I always looked forward to my trips to Tews just to hear Ed's view on things in the industry. He will be sadly missed. May God bless him and his family.

My condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace.
He was a personality that anyone who met him remembered.

I really missed him the last time I stopped in. A great family running one of the last classic tackle "joints" in the U.S.A.

May God Bless his family and give them strength. May his memory be eternal.
