Subject: Brunswick Corporation names Dirk Hyde, President Lund Boats.
Brunswick announced today that it has named Dirk Hyde as President of Lund
Boats. Hyde currently serves as the President of the Pontoon Boat Category for
Brunswick, and will now have the added responsibility for the operations of
Lund Boat Company. In his Lund Boat capacity, Hyde will report to Jeff Kinsey,
President of Aluminum Fish Boat Category.
Since joining Brunswick in 1991, Hyde has held positions of increasing
responsibility across multiple functions. Before being named head of the Pontoon
Boat Category in 2008, Hyde had spent two years as President of Crestliner
Boats. Prior to his time with Crestliner, Hyde had most recently been Chief
Operating Officer for Attwood Corporation, a Brunswick subsidiary. Hyde
earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at Alma College in
Michigan, and his MBA at Central Michigan University.
Hyde succeeds Andrew Klopak, who has left Brunswick Corporation to pursue
other career aspirations. Klopak has provided over 20 years of service to Lund
Boats, and we wish him success in his future endeavors.
