Just bought a 2009 Ranger 1760 Angler and I'm going to add another locator. Any thoughts on where in the transom I should mount the transducer? Ranger says I should mount it on the bottom starboard side of the transom, above the area that has the livewell intakes and drain plug that extends below and in front of the transom. To me, this would seem to me that there could be turbulent water here. If any of you have a Ranger with a similar transom design, I'd appreciate it if you could pass along your recommendations. Thanks!

Mark
