Need some input on how to fix this issue. Mounted my Terrova with the Minn Kota adapters and screws. While down it pulls up and they adapters are pulling out. While it is locked in it sits flush. What can I do to fix this??

Are you talking about the type of fasteners that expand?

I used Stainless bolts through the cap, with fender washers, and NyLock nuts. I'm pretty sure they were 1/4-20. It was a reach to get the nuts and washers on, but I used some grease on the box end of a long wrench to hold them in place, and reached in through the storage tube hole. Pretty much a 2 person job.

Shep that would be great but I don't have my Tuffy I now have an older Yar-Craft and there is not access to the front so I cannot use bolts and nuts that is the issue. I have to either use some kind of mounting adapter that fits into a hole or like a hollow wall anchor which is what I am leaning towards using.
