| Last spring I had an amazing time sight fishing for walleye at NIGHT. I caught my personal best 25 inches. I was using my headlight to shine in the surrounding water to pick up the reflection of their eyes, turn my light off, and then cast a grub in the direction i saw the eyes and BAM.
Anyone else have success with this technique? What flashlight would people suggest that has a strong beam?

Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | My buddy does that off a few break walls on Lake Michigan in the spring. Has to be a blast. And there are dozens of light options for either head or hat. I prefer the hat clip on's with the different light brightness options. Cheap but bright and reliable.

| cool thanks!
I was thinking about getting a tactical flashlight with a red lens. supposedly its best for penetrating murky water and wont alert fish/game. 500 lumens |
