Hey, first post here. last spring I picked up a 2013 Lund 2010 Pro Guide with a 150 Verado. It is very limited on gauges with only speed and RPM. I want to add Water pressure and temp as well as oil temp. Any suggestions on which way to go and rigging. Should I go with Merc. Smartcraft or stand alone gauges? I am getting old but guess the gear head in me still likes knowing what's happening internal to my motors.

Correction, oil pressure not temp.

Smartcraft from Merc. You can get a single gauge to do the job, I believe.

I have been looking at the MercMonitor. Torn between level 1 and level 2 units. Level 2 is $200 extra and gives Fuel flow, Hours, Boost pressure, and oil temp. The hours would be nice for maintenance, and not sure about boost. For $200, I think I might stick with level 1. Anyone have experience with them?

Unless someone gives me different info, I am going to go with the level II MercMonitor. I thought the difference was $200, but the more I look into it, I think it is only $120, and by the time I try to add a stand alone hour gauge I would be half way there and a lot of time/effort. I guess, do it once do it right.

Ok, I got it all installed except for the GPS Puck, need to buy a NMEA 2000 unit. My Humminbird has an external GPS Puck, but it is not NMEA 2000. Most likely going to pick up a Garmin 19X just for the monitor. Running the wires up into the motor was a choir, but I got her done without destroying anything. Removed my Speedo and replaced it with the monitor. Plugged it in and it fired right up. I think I will like this thing.
