Here is a little information that WFT and the DNR have been gathering on Big Green Lake . We have had a very successful hatchery on the lake for a number of years and we are seeing great results.

The walleyes that Stevens Point age and inspected for the OTC markings in 2014 grew from fry to 6.2 to 8.86" in roughly five months. And then this tagged male walleye, 5.1" growth in the past 14 years from 16.5 to 21.6" and he's 20 some years old. This really illustrates how slow they grow once they've attained adulthood, WOW!

We would also like to thank those that have supported Walleyes For Tomorrow and our efforts to improve Walleye populations throughout Wisconsin and Lake Gogebic.
