Location: Rhinelander | Please scroll down for the full day one results 150 boats headed out of the Huron River Boat ramp this morning to kick off day one of the 2017 Cabela's National Walleye Tour held on lake Erie. The take off time was delayed one hour due to a bunch of logs that had floated in to the ramp area and City workers made quick work to remove the debris and get the launch line moving smoothly again. Todays weather looks to be mild with partly cloudy skies and light winds up to 7mph. The bite has been tough with the muddy water and high winds but we did talk to a few fisherman that are catching decent fish. Today's weigh in will start at 4pm to the late take off. Location: Rhinelander | Pro Angler Zak Jobes and Co Angler Craig Jameson lead after day one with a 5 fish bag of 39.53 pounds. Ryan Buddie and Dennis Leuer are close behind in second with a 5 fish bag weighing 39.33 pounds. Your Third place pro and co angler spot for day one is Mike Robertson and Daniel Smith with 5 fish weighing 37.53 pounds. The bite today proved to be a tough one for a lot of anglers but some of the teams were lucky enough to bring in a good weight.
