PROVEN POINSETT MASTERS, SCHLIEM AND DOHLMAN WIN FOURTH STOP ON WWA SD TEAM CHALLENGE
Siouxland Resort, SD.- Carlyle Schliem and Bruce Dohman continued their winning ways in 2003 by winning the World Walleye Association South Dakota Team Challenge event held at Lake Poinsett June 29th 2003.

Schliem and Dohman won the first event of the season in the South Dakota Team Challenge Division and after finishing 12th and 10th in the following two events, they returned to the winners spot on the lake that they won this WWA event last season, proving to be the "Poinsett Masters" in the WWA.

Schliem and Dohman trolled open water in the main part of the lake using their "secret" crankbaits to catch 20.37-pounds and the big fish of the tournament weighing 8.44-pounds.

Bob Klosterman and Ryan Eichacker placed second with a weight of 15.96-pounds. Klosterman and Eichacker also had the second place big fish weighing 8.39-pounds. They also trolled crankbaits in the main part of the lake.

Dusty Wilkens and Wes Wilkens placed third with a weight of 12.23-pounds.

The third place finish puts Dusty and Wes Wilkens in the points lead for the South Dakota Team Challenge Division going into the final event of the year, the two-day event at Lake Oahe.

"The WWA would like to thank Brock and all the staff at Siouxland Resort for all their help in making the event a success." Said Steve Poll, Executive Director of the World Walleye Association.
