These little chunks of insight the pros share with us really open the eyes of many jaded fans, and help us realize these cats are just people, too, having fun and trying to enjoy life here on the third rock from the sun.

Berkley pro Josh Bertrand is next up to share some of his favorite things and experiences with BassFIRST.

 

JB- My ideal vacation would be a houseboat on Lake Powell in Arizona. I’ve done it a couple of times, and it’s amazing. The most scenic lake ever.

It’s a great way to spend time with family and friends. Fishing, eating, and water sports. It’s also close to home, so it’s easy to get there and back.

JB – Metallica. I like all kinds of music, but nothing holds a candle to Metallica when I am driving cross country and need something to keep me awake and focused.

Also, I love listening to it when I’m working on tackle or fishing.

JB – One that I grill. Not that it tastes any better, but I enjoy grilling out and making it how I want it.

It’s usually pretty basic, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

For takeout, it’s In-N-Out. We have a lot of them in Arizona, so I’m hitting that up regularly.
