Cody Roswick, AIM Business Manager
Long-time respected marine and fishing industry professional and North Dakota walleye guide Cody Roswick has been tapped to become AIM Weekend Walleye Series business manager to take AIM to the next level of tournament excellence. Roswick, from Valley City, North Dakota, will report to AIM's Board of Directors and will partner with AIM National Tournament Director Denny Fox towards the end of the year, says AIM Board Chairman Brett King.
"The board has talked for quite some time about finding a business manager exactly like Cody Roswick," Brett King, AIM Board member says. "He's been involved in the marine industry from the boat and tackle side and pretty much all facets for a long time, and has always been very respected. He understands the marine and sport fishing industries.
"He's worked with a lot of tournament pros and knows the business. When Cody mentioned he was looking for an endeavor like this, we just felt like the gift horse looked US right in the mouth," King says.
"I'm also excited to have Cody onboard, to help us expand to the point we've always known we could achieve," adds Fox. "It's a move that makes great sense to have someone like Cody on board to get the job done."
"I was honored to have AIM want me as its business manager," Roswick says. "I look forward to helping AIM grow. AIM was developed by a group of very passionate anglers. The Weekend Walleye Series is doing really well, especially in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and the board wants to continue our course toward making it even more exciting.
"I'm looking forward to working on some ideas we have to make additions that anglers will really enjoy and grow the series."
Roswick has the experience to do just that, King says. He's worked with some of the largestnames in the boating and fishing industry including Pure Fishing, the fishing giant that includes Berkley. His other experience includes business manager of the National Professional Anglers Association, and currently as a consultant for Northland Tackle. Roswick also operates a guide business in central and eastern North Dakota, including Devils Lake.
"His industry knowledge is vast and deep. He's a walleye angler and a former tournament fisherman. We're super excited to have him on board to help us take AIM to where we know it can be," King adds.
