Devils Lake, ND -
October 19, 2017 - Professional
Angler Johnnie Candle will be sporting a new ride for 2018 as he and Lund Boats
have come to terms to create a new marketing partnership.  Both parties are equally excited.

Candle, a 23 year veteran of professional walleye fishing,
is no stranger to Lund Boats.  "My first
tournament/guide boat ever was a Lund SV-18," stated Candle.  He continues, "Far from a tournament boat, I
had to build my own front deck and tear apart one of the wooden bench seats to
install a live well to keep fish alive.
The outboard motor didn't even have trim and tilt. It is interesting how
things come full circle."

Johnnie has many connections to Lund Boats as well. He and
the president of Lund, Dirk Hyde, have worked together in the past through
Brunswick Corporation. Lund is part of the Brunswick Corporation that also
manufactures Mercury outboard motors, Candle also represents Mercury Marine.

"I am excited to be working with the management team at Lund
and to be fishing out of one of the finest boats on the planet.  Lund has a very long standing reputation as
the dominant boat of the North Country and putting my name next to theirs means
a lot to me," Candle explained.

Ryan Sproule, Lund Boats pro staff coordinator said, "We are
also excited to have Johnnie representing Lund boats.  His reputation as a great angler and brand
ambassador precedes him.  This is an
incredible opportunity for Lund for next year and into the future."

Johnnie Candle is a professional tournament angler, sport
fishing communicator, and fishing guide residing in Devils Lake, ND.  He is sponsored by SCHEELS, Lund Boats,
Mercury Marine, Humminbird, Minn Kota, Lake Region State College, Air Wave
Pedestals, Costa del Mar, Bremer Bank, EGO nets, and TH Marine.
