Location: LaCrosse, WI | I've been doing some research on this new FLW Walleye League Heartland Division. This division looks really interesting. I've always wanted to try out Spring Valley (hopefully without the conditions that the MWC faced this year). Rathbun looks really interesting. It is apparently a big resevior.
Moline shouldn't be too bad, barring excessive flooding like this year. I just wonder what kind of participation the league will get from this division. Has anybody really been hearing much from the IL and IA folks on their thoughts? |

Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | oh mr guest let komo have his day , and no i dont think you needed a fish to make the top 5 you just had to servive the day on the water... lol,,, i dont care how you get there a top 5 with a full field in an MWC event and you have reached superstar status in my book...  |

Still tryin to make my top 10 finish though... Gettin closer every year..

Location: Orland Park, IL | yep, 190+ ties for 5th. nope no fish, no check, no plaque just a fun time. (And a little inside WF Humor...1 fish = $64K. nice. Mucho kudos to Steir and his partner).
I wanted to fish the FLW Wisconsin in 08 but not sure whether I can do 2, Heartland and Wisconsin. I guess I am debating. Plus I always throw in at least one Tour event. If any thing I may be leaning towards heartland.
And where the heck is Rathburn, IA? How is the fried chicken in Rathburn? Could be the deciding factor. |
