The Walleye/Sauger bite has been fairly good as of late but has slowed some compared to the past week or two, we have still been getting a few saugers in 20 to 25 ft of water pulling cranks on 3 ways and also jigging plastics and jig/minnow combos in those same depths. We have also taken some nice eyes up in the shallows in the past few days and the peak of the spawn appears to be only a day or two away at most. I would not doubt if the majority of the fish will be spawned out by next weekend. I have also been spending some time down in the lake chaseing smallies and at times have hade pretty good success, man does it feel good to be back catching those bad boys. Look for the bass bite in the lake to get nothing but better in the next few days and weeks, life is good. Good luck to all and please practice CPR.

That's good to hear Loren. I'll be fishing 9 and 10 for the next ten days or so and I am expecting good results with the full moon and rain in the forecast. I just hate those days when you catch walleyes, smallmouths and largemouths all on the same day.

I to have been fishing with 3-ways and sticks. I have had the best luck in about 12ft, nothing huge but few over 23".
I also have been getting them with the core in the middle of the channel, in the middle of the day.

Good luck
