Ok, thinking of next year, would like to squeeze a trip to Green Bay and bring the 2 boys with.

You guys or gals that fish it on a reguar basis, what would be a good time frame to come over for a first time?

Your most predictable weather will probably be June or July. There should be decent bites going as well. You can find real good fishing in May though, you just have to be more careful of the weather. Those would also probably be your most comfortable temperature times for the boys.

Good Luck

When you come to Green Bay get ahold of me [email protected] or 920-246-2747. I've fished the bay once or twice. Hopefully I can get on the water with you. Pat Cavins

It sounds like June it is, I have been told that is the time to come by others.

Where is a fisherman freindly place to stay?

With all of your help I should be able to put a program together for a long weeked.

For June, the lower end of the bay will be a "sure" thing. I'd say anywhere from Green bay to Oconto, you could stay. The open water bite should be going into full gear, with both numbers of fish to be caught and good quality along with the occasional "trophy".

The Sportsmen in Green Bay caters to fishermen, but lacks fish cleaning area. The Oconto Motel in Oconto is another fishermen friendly hotel.

Good Luck
