Location: Neenah, WI | Ginny's nephew and family are in Sherwood for the weekend and 2 of their boys 7 and 8 just HAD to go fishing. We ran across to Calumet Cty. Park and picked them up along with our neices 12 year old daughter. I didn't have any east shore info so we just went up to the north a bit and anchored. We caught 3 little perch, 6-8 yellow bass and a dozen or so sheeps. The kids had fun but Ginny and I had an absolute ball!!! These kids have been to a couple of weigh-ins and have seen the boat and always pestered us about going out but weather etc. always got in the way. We had to borrow PFD's from the neighbor kids. I feel like I cheated them because I had more fun than they did. I gotta do this more often. |
