Zach, broke down and put up money to rent a new real site for the imagery and maps. I put screen captures up from the Humminbird 997 but the best thing is it let me put up video's of and inside an intact fish house I found on the bottom of Forest Lake thanks to the side scan. I think who ever made it used a lot of steel tubing and roofing or siding. It looks like it went down fast and for sure landed on its roof. If you want to see the true term "fish" house, check it out. The video link is down a bit on the left. Doc was telling about it too in his news letter this week with screen captures of from his Lowrance 113 I borrowed.
I also put up special imagery of Clearwater in Wright county, Pelican by Brainerd, Sakakawea and part of Fort Peck so far.
This way I don't have to worry about messing around and screwing up any one else's site. Never know what I might try next. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to combine an SLG file playing on the Lowrance Sonar viewer in sync with a video so you can watch the sonar and actually see a muskie and walleye cruising together around the fish house.

I've added new pages on my site, with screen captures, I hope others might find useful in using their Humminbird side scans. Under Tips and Tricks on using.

http://www.accuemap.com/

One part I used a boat I found with the 997 on the bottom of the lake this summer and scanned it at different speeds, different distances off to the sides, one side vs two sides on the screen and that. Each image has the speed, off sets and all so you can see what difference it makes.

The other one is for using the side scan to make maps with in maps on your chart plotter, of things like weed lines and odd breaks you find. Hopefully pass on some useful ideas.
