Anyone in the Northeastern IL area who is interested, The Fishing Fanatics radio show will be back on the air on 1360 AM WLBK starting on December 6th. The show will air live each Thursday from 6-7 PM and again on Saturday mornings.

I am also working on a national promotional/syndicated deal that will allow anglers all over the country to hear the show.

Anyway, tune in if you want to listen in to an entertaining take on the world of fishing from pros to recreational angling to some of the politics that shapes the sport we love.

I have good news for all of you WalleyeFIRST Fanatics. First off, tonight's Fishing Fanatics program will feature Rick LaCourse and Juls Davis. They'll be discussing something, not sure what. LOL It'll be fun.

We'll also be talking with the new BASS Angler of the Year Skeet Reese.

This will all take place live from 6-7 PM on 1360 AM WLBK in Northern IL.

Now here is the good news for anyone who wants to listen in, but doesn't live in range. The folks here at WalleyeFIRST will be carrying The Fishing Fanatics in the near future. Steve W. sent me an e-mail letting me know this. The terrific folks here at WF, the original Internet home of The Fishing Fanatics, will carry our rebroadcasts so all of you can listen in.

Feel free to suggest guests, program topics, etc. You can send these suggestions and requests to me at the e-mail address below.

Thanks again for all of the support.

I just spoke to Zach. The shows should be up pretty soon.

BTW - On the show this week are Angie Michaels from FISHHER. She is the owner of the company, FISHHER www.fishher.com, that makes fishing gear for women. She is a big advocate for teaching and recruiting more women into the sport of fishing.

Also on the showgram is Charlie Moore. He is the host of Beat Charlie Moore on ESPN2 and also Charlie Moore Outdoors on NESN, if you have satelite you can see that show.

Check out the latest Fishing Fanatics show here on WalleyeFIRST! I am proud of all of the shows I've ever done, even the stinky ones, but this one was a ball. Charlie Moore from Beat Charlie Moore fame on ESPN2 was a blast.

On this week's show we'll have walleye pro Pat Neu and BASS Elite Series pro Jon Bondy from Canada.

Bondy is pretty interesting since he is not only a bass pro, he guides for walleyes, muskies and bass on Lake St. Clair, the Detroit River and Lake Erie. Kind of a throwback to the times when pro anglers regulary fished for more than one species of finny critter.

Thanks for your support and keep the guest suggestions coming.

Sorry to report no nw Fishing Fanatics this week. Due to weather related issues the show was pre-empted this week.

Unlike the brave and courageous US Postal Workers The Fishing Fanatics wimped out and didn't battle the elements to get to the studio.

We will have an all new show again next week and make sure that Pat Neu and Jon Bondy are on the show in the future.
