Ice Breaker 3 is going to be INDOORS this year at Critters Sports / Wood-eyes bar & Grill in Winneconne. Also it's going to be a 2 day event, March 8 & 9, 2008, with representation by numerous factory reps and an expanded, not so rushed format of seminars much like what has been successful in the first two years. Those with products to sell or promote should contact Denny Fox, "stacker" as he is known here. He is the floor manager and in charge of all display space which will on the 60 X 120 feet of floor space. This will be more heavily advertised show thanks to Doug Nelson, "Critter" and the Outdoor Gazette, but table space will still be cheep. Mercury powered boats from Tuffy and Triton will be on display thanks to Fort Fremont and Boat Doc's. More boat dealers should be on hand as in years before as well as a much better selection of local products, jigs, harnesses and other products. Due to increased space there should be activities for all ages. A schedule of seminars and activities will be posted as available.
This will once again be a free show.

Hi Everyone.

As Doc said, I will be the floor manager for this event. The displayers that have made the Ice Breaker a success in the past will be the first to have a chance at the floor space. But there will be many more spots than in the past. For all others, It will be on a first come basis. I will have sizes and rates for booths by mid week. Please e-mail me at [email protected] for a rate sheet. We are all very excited for this years event. It promises to be the destination event for spring. Get in NOW!!

Also, for those traveling, there are plenty of rooms available right in Winneconne. Wolf River House Resorts is host sponsor. He has a variety of lodging options. A complete list of available lodging will be available on Wolf River Country.Com shortly. The two day event also lets us talk about a great deal more including the possibly of discussing the great bass, pike and musky fishing. If there is a subject you'd like broached, let me know.

Putting it on my calendar right now. I made the first 2 and they were definitely worth the time. For those that haven't gone, I highly suggest it, especially if you want to learn a few tricks about our local waters from some of the experts.

Will the calendar girls be there Doc???

Yes, calendar girls will be there. Stop out Saturday the 15th and help us choose. I might be looking for additional judges.

Does The Sportsman get a spot in a competitor's Shop? I guess the two things we out-do them on is Reef Runners and musky baits. If we can have table space, and it is cool with Critters, please call me tomorrow at 920-843-1744.

Just confirmed our conversation and my meeting with Critter. No problem setting up what ever size display you want. I believe Denny has something in mind and will be in contact. Thanks for your interest. Has the makings to be an exceptional show.

For everybody who has sent me a e-mail regarding show space, Thank you. The information will be sent out this coming week. There will be a layout of the event as well as booth space numbers. First come basis will assure you the spot you are looking for. In the future, you will also have preferential placement in the event.

Denny
