| If i was gonna put a fast motor on there it'd be a 225 HO ficht evinrude. That thing would absolutely scream. I however would never put either on there for fear of the motor going to h3ll. Just my $.02 |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | That's all you would be able to do is imagine a 225 on the 1890 because I believe it is only rated for a 200 according to the Tuffy website. Now a 250 Pro XS on a 2060 would be sweet! Hopefully that will be on my next one. |

Mr Marine has a 2060 with a 250 Pro XS. I thought that boat would fly also, but not as fast as i thought. Still under 60mph from what I understand. I could be wrong, maybe Steve can clarify better. Not trying to make this sound like an ad, but I couldn't believe the price on the 2060 with the 250 Pro XS, 9.9 pro kicker and Terrova that Mr Marine has. Check out mrmarineinc.com to see the price. All you have to do is add a couple graphs and rod holders and your ready to rock. I don't think you'll find a better price on a 20 ft glass boat, If I was a Tuffy guy, I wouldn't even think twice. |

When I was looking at getting my 2007 Skeeter, Bob from Mr. Marine gave me some sound advice. I told him my wife would never let me buy a new boat and he said, "It is easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission". Of course if you follow this, you might be searching the yellow pages for a good divorce lawyer.

| Whats to imagine? Just do it, We overpower boats all the time. What are you scared of? voiding your warranty? big deal. Put a 250 xs with 200 stickers on it and really surprise some people |

That boat should definitely do better than 60 with a 250 XS. The 250 Verado powered 2060 does 64, if i remember correctly. |

| I've had the 2060 Factory Boat over 63 with the 250 Opti XS last spring. And that was with a 21 Tempest. It really needed a 23 or even a 25 on it. The 2060 with a 250 Pro/XS should do 60+ easy.

| You guys are correct. I was talking with Bob a couple months ago and could have sworn he said it wouldn't do 60. I must have misunderstood his answer. I asked him again at the Oshkosh boat show, and he said it should definately hit the mid 60's. I'm not even that old, and my hearing is going already! |
