GOING TO GLADSTONE IN A WEEK .WONDERING ABOUT LINES AND HOOKS .ALSO BAIT WAS THINKING ABOUT BRING SUCKERS AND SOME SALTED BAIT (SHINERS).NOT SURE IF I CAN?ALSO A ICE REPORT.CAN I GUY GO WITHOUT SLED OR QAUD. Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI I wouldn't recommend bringing any live bait over state lines. Also, you can use two lines per person in Michigan while ice fishing, and any tip-ups need to have your name on them. I'm not really sure of the ice and snow consitions, so I recommend calling the hotel you are staying and ask them.
