I have been considering buying new line. I now like the idea of the low stretch of the superlines. What is the best one? I will be using going on a one week long trip. hopefully I will primarily be casting cranks but I may end up trolling or jigging. I know these are all very different tactics but what do you suggest.

Hands down 6lb test Fireline Crystal. I also use 8lb depending on the conditions.

I second the 6lb test fireline. I've been using fireline for casting cranks, jigging, and long line trolling for years now. One suggestion when using superlines though. I have found through trial and error that a medium light rod is probably as stiff of a rod that you'll want to use. When I used medium action or higher rods, I did have a lot of fish tear loose while casting cranks. Mainly because there is no give in the line. Light action rod will help compensate for that.
