Hello,

New to board and wanted to introduce myself. From KC (home of best BBQ) and enjoy musky, walleye, bass fishing. Have owned fiberglass bass boats all my life and have now decided to move to a 2025 Lund w/ 250 Verado on her backside. Couple questions about aluminum.....
1) Do you guys wax your aluminum top half and then rain x down a little ways further (not bottom) so that mucky water doesn't stain rig? If so, what do you recommend for waxing aluminum. Boat top half is black.

2) Have a butt load of pea size spots on my plated steel protector steps on trailer that looks like something ran off of side of boat onto these plates. I've tried ss cleaner, polish, wax, brasso, and assorted other products that claim to remove tarnish and other stuff but seems that these spots have dug into finish. Any ideas?

3) Anybody have good or bad things to say about Verado engine? Still have ice at boat ramps so haven't had time to stick it in water yet. Boat & motor are 2006 and used 1 year as demo. Hopefully made right choice on this rig.

thnx for your thoughts and views and hope the hard water goes away soon for ya and the fat eyes start eatin.

Get some Wonderfoam (cleaner) and Restore (polish). This stuff works and is easy to use. Give Skeeter a call.

Would like a little more info than just a "Buy my product". I'm sure the skeeter products work great but so do many others. Was wanting some feedback on if people are waxing top half only and rain x down another 1/3 or waxing from top down to 3/4 or not waxing at all and just using a rain x product.

thnx
