Location: Menasha, WI | I was on my way home from work the other morning and there was a sports show on the radio and they decided to start a sports-ism type dictionary. I thought this was kind of a cool idea as we all have little sayings or words we use everyday in our boats. I would like to see your Fishing-isms and see what we can come up with. Below are a few examples, but feel free to expand on this. I am just hoping to have some fun with this, as we all are sick of the white stuff and waiting for some soft water.
Scummers= Whitebass
Reefing and Gaffing= A term my buddy uses when it comes to trolling
Snakes= Small northern Pike that we sometimes catch.
Get the point, now add yours to the list and have fun. |
