First off wishing all of you the greatest of Easter Blessings! Remember how greatful and how blessed we really are. So let this weekend be one of meaning and enjoyment to all us.
Bay reports; noticeably seeing a good amount of anglers working off the Kipling Luanch areas and upper Bay off the Days River.
Perch catches fair in most cases. In talking to several anglers the past week and sorting through smaller fish getting a few of those nice 8 to 10 inch with them saying bigger ones are being caught.
Best bite baits; wigglers and waxies, tear drop jigs and the plain split shot/aberdein hook set.
Berkley's "gulp" grubs working as well fished on small jigs.
We've been preparing the boat for the spring season and getting tackle cleaned up and ready to go in the upcoming weeks!
Whitefish catches off the Escanaba Lighthouse reported as well. Small minnows and single eggs fished off bottom.
Ice thickness still is very good but always keep watching for those possible wet spots.
REMEMBER ICE SHANTIES ARE TOO BE REMOVED THE END OF THIS MONTH!
