| Is there anything to report on the fishing around the De Pere area?
I saw so many good reports up till the 18th then they stopped. I would just like to know if the fish turned off by the weather? |

| Sounds like the water really muddied up and the bite has gotten tough. People are still catching some fish but they are working for them. |

Location: Shawano, Wi. | Water got dirty, but large, even obnoxious presentations will still get 'em. On a side note: anyone going to DePere solo w/ a boat who's looking for a boat buddy, lemme know. I won't be getting my motor back until at least Tue., possibly Thurs. I'll by bait, lunch, etc. (and get myself there, of course). I fished alot late ice (couple weeks ago) and am completely addicted to the place. I have all week off next week, and will go anytime of the day or night. If anyone is interested, drop a line in this thread. Thanks! |

Location: Janesville | i fished it on wed 3/19 and the water was still pretty clear about 4 ft visiblity. we fished from 11-9 and caught about 100 fish between three of us with 23 being the biggest and most fish were 21 and anywhere between 3 and 5 pounds. we were useing jig minnow, ringworms twistertails mimic minnows. purle ringworms and pink jig heads with twister tails were the ticket. we caught most of the fish casting in 3-9 feet of water. and away from the crowds. the fish bit all day long and was constent action.
