although still over a month until the opening of the 2008 fishing season http://www.littlebaydenoc.com/pages/charter-packages.php it's time to start getting ready!
Perch anglers seeing some activity off the Kipling Launch access finding active fish off Butlers Island and off First Reef. Live bait choice seeming to be wigglers fished off a tiny flasher or just the plain hook and split-shot rig. The local bait shops have good supplies of wigglers, waxies and perch minnows.
