| Here to ask a favor... Please help support this 1st year Tournament Series with their first event this Saturday in Winneconnie. The guys running this tournament are friends of mine and are great guys. Mark Derricks and Chris Jones are the Tournament directors and I've know both of these guys for a long time. They are both dedicated to making this another great tournment series for our area. Our fishing group, Focus is sponsoring the series... here is the information. FOCAS is excited to announce that we are sponsoring the FULL THROTTLE WALLEYE SERIES. This is a new series of one day, two person team walleye tournaments. The events are on April 12 in Winneconne, May 31 in Oshkosh and on September 13 in Marinette - Menomonee. If you are interested in fishing these tournaments you can visit their website at http://web.mac.com/fishschutz/FULL_THROTTLE/Home.html . If you are interested please contact Mark Derricks at [email protected] or call him at 920-858-0558.
Thanks... Dominic |

| JUST MY OPINION - I think it would be more attractive if it were a Sunday tourn. being its only a one day tourn. series. Let us guys maybe save a day of vacation and pre-fish or fish another tourn. that has been around in past years on sat. Too many other tournaments on Saturdays. One example- May 31, 4 permitted tournaments, none on june 1 the sunday after. I think thats why Jim Coons and the MWS are so succesfull. Mack's ran a tourn. last year on a Sun. and was a big draw. To bad the live release was a failure and I think the circuit folded (if I'm correct) for other reasons. Alot guys are pumped to compete but can only fish one tourn. on a sat. and sundays in most cases are wide open. |

Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | the only thing holding my partner and i back is the saturday thing also... taking a day off of work costs money and we are both in a buisness that spring is time to make hay.... i know for this year its tuff to re-schedual but i vote for sundays.. pre-fishing or not... good luck i know this thing will fly and thanks for having the guts to start the full throttle ... i think it will be just fine .. |

Location: Berlin | Ok, called Mark and it looks like they have 10 signed up so far but he is getting a good number of calls. With the current weather report, I am not sure if we will be fishing. Hopefully it changes, I think there are alot of guys in the same boat. |

Location: Berlin | I am did not talk to Mark directly so I am not sure but I think it is because of multiple things. Ice chunks, flood conditions on some parts of the system, horrible weather, lack of entries due to all of the above etc. I think it is the right call and am looking forward to the May event. |

| Bummer they had to cancel, but probably the right call, sounded bad out there. I hope to jump in on their other tourneys. Wanted to do this one also but my rig is still being worked on at the Factory.
I hope they do well and they survive I like the series and from what I hear the crew running it are all good folks.

| This is a tough year to start a walleye circuit. All circuits are way down in numbers, and some fairly popular one are folding (see MN Walleye Trail, Western Walleye). |
