Location: Orland Park, IL | Wondering how many folks are doing this or is it even worth it. Love the stuff the guys up in michigan are running. Gonna put some water time in playing with those scootchies from Axl. |

Location: LaCrosse, WI | I have one set up that with both components that produces some better fish for me. I really learned how to use spoons when I fished over on Erie in October one year. I strongly recommend the Stingers for the spoon part of your creations. |

| We have been using them since 2000 we took 5th in merc in 2002 with stingers but since that year they have been hit or miss sometimes when conditions are right they work well and usually catch larger fish. So give them a try. |

| I have also been using them on Winnebago since 2004. Like others have said previously they can be hit or miss.
It seems I have my best luck when I match the color of the spoon to the crankbait. Purple stinger scorpian with purple cranks and blue chrome stingers with blue chrome cranks have been the best producers. Firetiger also has its days. |

| Can someone tell me what these are? Would love to try them and see how they work but not sure what the set up is. Any help would be appreciated. |

| How often do you think the spoon itself gets hit? Any way to place a hook on that as well? |

| A few years ago spoons were red hot. skip the meat and burn them spoons on lead core 2-2.2 mph 3-5 colors back. Out fished cranks 3-1.
Only down fall, never did catch "big" fish on the spoons, but lots of eaters.
Last couple years the traditional stuff seems to be hot again. |
