| Anyone ever try one of these... It's a Pals 3/8 oz deep diving lure that I took apart and refitted with a Baitfish blade on a metal clevis, reflective tape on the nose and a double hook with beads.
I tried these on the Bay of Green Bay last year and they worked well in the deeper water running 25 feet behind the boards. Because they are 3/8 oz and they dive, you don't need to use any inline weights to get them down. I was trying to make a combination diver and harness for the Bay and this combo has produced for me.
You can't see in the picture, but the body color is a dk Purple, which has been one of my best colors on the bay the last 5 years. The wire extends back to where I reclosed the loop so I could tie the harness on.
I got the Pal's from Sportsman in Appleton and then carefully took them apart so that I could re-assemble them without breaking the wire that holds them together.

Location: Green Bay, WI. | Hey Dominic, It's Pa's and I loaded up on an assortment of sizes & colors last time I went to Saginaw Bay, MI. I also made up something similar to yours only with the Storm Pygmy spin, some of the Pygmy's have a quick change clevis already on them. These are in the Trolling Bible. | I just made a few of my own up with a different harness. The Crawler Connection harness seems very bulky.
