Location: Rhinelander | It was close.
On Lake Erie, this was probably as close as it could get with less than a pound between first and second after weighing a total of 286.25 pounds between the Top Two finishers on the final day of the 2008 FLW Walleye Tour out of Port Clinton, Ohio.
It was John Swanstrom fighting off a hard charging Larry Smith for the win, with 143.44#, and Larry Smith taking second with 142.81#.
The rest of the top ten looks like:
ERIK FURSETH
ROBERT HENTON
RICK FRANKLIN
DAN STIER
CHAD SCHILLING
DAVID FREY
KEVIN MICHNICKI
PETE HARSH
Cranks and spinners high in the water column were the presentations putting the big fish in the livewell. Crankbaits were hot early, asnd spinners took over later in the day.

| Excellent coverage guys. The true advantage of being onsite to cover an event is that you really get to deliver the sense of what is going on to the viewer when they read, view and listen to the coverage.
I know I felt that way.
Great vids and photos.
