| Interested anglers,
We are organizing a Walleye tournament at "Sindbads At the River" in Detroit on May 3rd and 4th. $100.00 per boat /two man team. Pay out will be 100% of the proceeds after tournament expences. You can fish where ever you like but the fish must be weighed at Sindbads during the times listed below.
You can weigh 5 fish a day, 15" or longer (MDNR Detroit River Rules) Per team for each day of the tournament. Total two day weight per boat to determine the winner. The weigh in will be from 8:00AM until 10:30 PM on Saturday and form 8:00AM until 3:30 PM on Sunday.We will have a Keg at the Weigh Station on Saturday. The tournament hours are from 12:01 AM Saturday until 3:30Pm on Sunday. You must Weigh in during the Weigh in times for your Daily Catch at each of the two Weigh ins, for your daily catch to count.
All fish weighed are donated to the banquet to follow the final weighing. The food for the banquet will be presented by the chefs of Sindbads. Last year it was off the hook. All participants will be welcome at the banquet free of charge. Guess are welcome for $20.00 per person. Any leftover fish will be donated to the Capachin Soup kitchen.
The Prize list will be anounced at the Captain's meeting on the 30th of April at 6:00PM at Sindbads. Because the Cash Prizes are based on total paticipation, the prize list is not complete as of now. We Will pay cash for first place and hope to pay cash through 3rd place. We also have A Lake St. Clair Muskie Trip, Detroit Tiger's Tickets, and Gift Cirtificates for Sindbads to give away for prizes as well. The prize list is sure to grow from hear out .
There will be a Calcutta derby that will be explained at the Captains meeting and only open for registration duing the Captain's meeting.
There are Free Boat Slips available for the tournament while they last. Anyone that registers before the Captains meeting can use the slip from the 30th of April through the tournament to practice and then participate in the tournament.
