The only thing I've ever used my boat for has been fishing. Now the family has been asking me about pulling a tube. I don't have the option of using the harness that attaches to the eye bolts with the pulley in the middle because my kicker motor would be in the way. Would hooking up to just one eye bolt put too much pressure on it? Is there a ski pylon made for walleye rigs? I'm running a Crestliner 202 TS

Thanks,
Dan

You can pull from one side with no problem at all.

Are you in wisconsin? see my website at www.fortfremont.com. we sell Tuffy Fishing boats and we are a major player in the ski world. I have outfitted many walleye boats over the years for use as a family pleasure craft. Give me a call, we can discuss your needs.

Anyone else that needs help, feel free to call as well. Not everyone does what we do here.

Thanks

I've got a Skeeter ZX2050 with a kicker on it. For the first few years I pulled a tube off of one eye. The only problem I had is the rope would be pulled through the water causing a pretty good spray in the faces of those on the tube.

Last fall I bit the bullet and put a removable skin pylon in my boat to get the tow rope up in the air. I haven't pulled a tube with it but it should help. One note of caution, they do not recomend pulling a tube with a ski pylon. If the tube nose dives on takeoff it could rip the pylon right out of the boat.

I always pulled tubers with my removable pylon on the fishing boat no problem. I do a fair amount of wakeboarding and I easily put three to four times the pressure when I'm on a hard edge than a tube ever could. So I wouldn't worry to much about that, as long is it is a decent pylon with the two support shafts running back at about a 90* angle.
