| We made a slight change to the ranking model. Took some time to test and the bass site set us back a little. You'll see the update in a day or 2, Followed by the Pierre FLW update.

| The new ranking system seems to favor PWT finishes over FLW finishes. Look at the rankings of the guys that only fish the FLW. Seems like something needs to be changed. |

| No you are incorrect - all you need to do it look at the finishes whether they are PWT or FLW there is no circuit-based weighting difference whatsoever - BTW the #1 ranking belongs to a guy who only fishes the FLW. |

| How does the system account for number of contestants in an event? Is 20th place in an FLW event with 150 boaters weighted the same as 20th place in a PWT event with 100 boaters? |

| The finishes are normalized, for example, finishing last in a Super Pro Event doesn't net you 50th place points. Your example is valid as well.

| How is the example above Normalized? Or do both 20th place finishes in that example count as the same? |

| The finishes are normalized based upon field size, not sure how I can be more clear than that. |

| Next quesiton, not to start anything, just an expalnation. When you look at Gary's and Jason's last ten tourneys, Gary's lowest finish is 46th with 6 top-tens and an average place finish of 16th. If you look at Jason's last ten events, his lowest finish is 100th with and average place finish of 32nd. Now, to the general lookerdo, this looks wrong.
Nothing against either guy, they are both great Pros and Both deserve to be in the top-two slots. Can you give us a hint on this one. How many tourneys are used in the ranking?? Just curious.
I do enjoy the rankings. It keeps us up to pace with who's smoking in the walleye world.
Thanks,
Question man with tooooo much time on his hands to figure this out:) |

| Good eye.
The Tourneys with an R next to them are included in the rankings.
Keep in mind that Gary's Super Pro finishes can be deceiving, as those finishes go through a normalization process (there are only 50-60 boats), so are not as high as they appear. Also championship finishes are more heavily weighted.
That being said, the score you see is an "integrated" score. The integrated score produces a more realistic ranking result but the downside is it does introduce slight latency into the rankings.
After the latest FLW event, Gary's "raw" score eclipsed that of Jason's. The raw score is a future indicator given similar future performance. Therefore, you probably see Gary's rank surpass Jason's within the next event or 2 at the most. |

| That was a perfect answer. Thank you for the information. It will be fun to watch after the Championship to see where Gary moves.
