Cleaning Lowrance Screens

Mud Duck Posted 5/18/2008 12:35 PM (#69651) Subject: Cleaning Lowrance Screens Member Posts: 273 I picked up some "Monster ScreenClean" yesterday at Best Buy. It is alcohol free and cleaned my laptop screen real good. It says it is for LCD and plasma displays. Do you suppose it is safe for my Lowrance 111 & 25? If not, what do I need? Thanks. It will tell you you can soap and water or commercial cleaners such as windex with ammonia. As I recall, there was a slip in with my manual when I got my lcx 111hd and it specifically said to avoid ammonia products. It also said denatured alchohol was a good cleaner. I have neverf used ammonia products. The info I now find on the website confuses me.
