| 300 teams headed off onto the Winnebago system this morning at 6:30 AM under clear skies and mild temps. Winds were easy this morning, but have picked up steadily as the day wears on.
Highs in the mid 80's with 15 to 20 MPH Southwest Winds will make the ride in just a little bumpy, and thundershowers could interrupt the mostly clear weather at a 40% chance.
The bite has been good, but according to many it's so scattered that the winning weight could come from any one of several patterns.

The Mercury marine National Walleye tournament is an integral part of Walleye Weekend, one of the largest festivals in the US. Over 30,000 people will attend the event, featuring everything from softball tournaments, soccer tournaments and other sporting events, product displays, live bands, and much more. Headquartered out of Lakeside Park, it's a great way to spend the day, culminating in the 300 team weigh in starting at about 2 PM.
