How bad is the flood up there. Sounds like you guys really got hit. Are you sure tha tthey will even have to tournament? Not trying to start rumors but I'm hearing that the flooding is really bad over there. What is the launch like? Where would you park? I would guess that field has to be drenched?

I figured it was probably ugly. When I came through Oshkosh on Sunday there was water comming up onto the street from the storm drains. They must have been pretty full to spew water out like that.

Channel 12 reports:

A state of emergency is under way in Fond du Lac and Dodge counties.

County officials in Fond du Lac are asking people to stay out of the area because of the flooded roads.

Authorities shut down Highway 41 for a while Thursday during the storms.

Shelters have been set up at Fond du Lac High School, the Fond du Lac County fair grounds recreation center and at the Friendship Learning centers.

If you can't get there, buses are running from Marine Park Technical College and the Kohl's parking lot.

In Dodge County, you can seek shelter at Waupun High School.

it was a joke last night with the tv news crews driving around looking for puddles ,,, oh my god i thought it was the end of the world.... they are now reporting that the otter street club is moving there event to lake delton... the only place in the state without high water... according to the news lake winnibaggo is over flowing its banks and it the dam breaks millions could be killed... the dnr is contemplating blowing up every dam in wisconsin and returning all our our lakes to wet lands (swamps) this is no doubt the end of the world and a 1000 year flood. all the walleyes in lake winnibaggo are being washed out of the lake and out to the bay as we speak. the fish are strapping themselves into coolers as they do not know how to build an ark. its not good...  oh to anyone with major flood dammage and water in your basement this is not a joke to you , just think the news crews were out of controle last night ... wish all of you the best .

This is all I've heard about the tourney.

"As of late this morning the Otter Street Tournament is on . The problem their having is finding parking for all of the trucks and trailers not using the lawns."
