Location: Berlin | Even though my heart has been set on the Tuffy X-190 I found a deal that is way too good to pass up. The boat is located in KY and I will be picking it up in the next few weeks. When do I pay taxes on this boat and what percentage will they be here in Wisconsin?
This guy was thinking of getting a Tuffy. I pointed out this website to him and he is now sold. He has one lined up already!
Thanks to all those on here that helped me look for a boat. After two years without one, you can't believe how excited I am. Maybe now my knees will heal from all the begging I have been doing to my friends to take me fishing. |

Location: Rhinelander | Taxes here are the 5% state and whatever county/stadium/etc. taxes you have where you live. |

Location: Berlin | Thanks Steve, that is what I thought. I am assuming I pay that when I register it with the DNR? |

You can register the boat through mail by sending in this form: http://dnr.wi.gov/org/caer/cs/apps/9400193.pdf |

Location: Berlin | Thanks guys. The boat is not in my garage yet but it is 99% right now. It is an '05 Bass Cat Pantera IV with a 200 Opti. It is LOADED with low hours and is in new condition. It has a Pop axle which allows the front axle to be raised making a tandem into a single for storing. Pretty cool. Smartcraft gauges and the list goes on. He is taking the bowmount off for his new boat so I am need of a Maxxum 80. He is also taking the Hummingbird off the console so I will need a nice Lowrance as well. I get a lifetime hull warranty and one heck of a beautiful and FAST boat. If this boat does not work as well as I think, The Tuffy X-190 will be next in the garage. Man I can't wait. |

| It's Sunshine, not Where the sun don't shine! Congrats I didn't think you would make it this long! That should have a heck of a hole shot!
Good Luck

"Where the sun don't shine" You guys are starting to scare me. He hasn't even gotten his fancy bass boat and ya are both talking like the southern boys. |

You got me in trouble again.
Come on Rich, we are very happy for you. It's a sweet boat. It certainly will scream.
I'm hoping that you'll offer me ride in it. And I promise that I will not ask you to perform surgery (inside joke). |

Location: Berlin | Lol, I will let you know when it is ready to go. Just keep the blood outside the boat:)
I am looking forward to using the hot foot. I just wonder how many times I will try to hit the brakes when stopping.
The lift on these boats is unreal. One guy said he had bugs splattered withing a couple feet of the transom.....on the bottom of the boat!
Unchartered territory for me but I think it will be a good fit for my style of fishing. Selling it might be a bit hard around here though. |

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Your worries are unfounded. Check the amount of Bass Tournaments on Bago alone. Now check out the Tournaments on Green Bay. I believe that there are more bass boys then walleye warriors. We know this to be true nationally.
Hot foot's rock. I'm surprised more walleye guys do not use them (have seen a few in walleye rigs).
I spend a few days a year in a similar boat owned by a bass Pro out of the marina. It takes awhile to get used to eating bugs and the chine walks. I still feel a little uncomfortable going over 70 mph.
If I remember correctly, Dale Strochein started fishing the PWT in a bass boat. Someone who has been around longer like Stacker may know. I guess I'm just saying that you are not in unchartered waters. |

Location: Berlin | Uh-oh! Houston, we have a problem. I spoke too soon. I should have known to get my hopes up. Looks like there might be a X-190 in my garage after all. I apologize to all the ladies out there that were looking to get a ride in my new boat:) |

| That's why I held off my congrats until that sucker was in the Garage! Sorry you are going through the hi and low's of this process, Rich. If you need to get out next week, give me a call. I am open most afternoon and evenings. Maybe Shrimp will give you a killer deal on his Skeeter w/the power poles on it!
