Location: Berlin | Who is it going to be and what will the weight be?? I will even send out a free Drop-n-Stay to the winner (must be a registered user) if that is OK with WalleyeFirst. To win you only have to pick the winning team. I am going to go out on a limb and pick Golliher and Robl with 34lbs |

| Here is the roster. 194 teams entered.
If it was open to the whole system, I'd say Stadler, or Gieger/Howard perhaps. Everyone staying on Bago, I could say Rabetski, or Rabetski. Or Terry Siedl and partner. Schmitty and Zillges? Shackerat? Mike Schaeffer? Adam Rasmussen? If I was in it I'd say no way! hehehe
Here's my vote, and I'm sticking to it. Jason and Josh Wiesner! 38.6 lbs! Don't ask me how I know.

| I think Rich is right, Golliher and Robl. I'm guessing 36lbs. Two weeks ago they finished third, last week was second. Seems like an easy pick to me. Good luck to all you guys in it. Wish I was fishing it. |

Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | though i would love to go gueller and robel on this one my pick is SCHWARTZ AND WILKENS! id love to pick myself but it jinxed me last time... dave and bob harding and anner are always a threat, the river is open to the 41 bridge so dont count out the merc national leaders from day one.. im still sticken with swartz and wilkens as it looks like all the names above are well rounded and heavy hitters, the bobber boys are always in the hunt,, 36.45 lbs or if the mud lights up your looking at a 44lbs

| Rich my guess is so far right on the money we will see what Sun. brings! I would not have guessed the method though? That darn Huie has been doing this to long, has a good bag of tactics mastered and just when I thought i knew where he would be and what he would do ,he throws me a change up. Kitch |

Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | looks like most of the large catches were either trolling the river in oshkosh or between the mouth to a mile or so out of the mouth of the river out into the lake , the west shore rock bite was junk and the east shore rock bite though conditions were perfect didnt produce the size .. and very hard to even get a limmit on the rocks anywhere although one east shore heavy hitter team did well on the rocks still 5 or 6 lbs a day off the pace. the mud for ten miles down the center of the lake didnt produce much either and fish stayed down, i wouldnt call it a mud bite at all it seems that everything is more than a few weeks late this year , more like a month with the high water in the upper lakes and rivers the big girls are comming down and out to the lake in small batches but with the water staying cool and high up river as long as there is food up there they will hang around for a wile.. the lake will still produce plenty of table fare in 13-15 inch fish but for the time being the river and mouth seem to hold the key to the heavy weights , still need 5 good bites though. |

| All of are fish came from 1 to 3 miles out in front of the river. There are nice fish being caught in the mud, you just need to find which particular bait they want that day. There doesn't seem to be any consistancy from day to day. Most fish I heard were being caught in that 8'-13' range pulling cranks.
Saturday #7 Clown Shad Wraps 8'-10' down at 1.8 to 1.9 mph seemed to be the ticket. Sunday there didn't seem to be any pattern to what they wanted. Perch colors, black and silver and clown all seemed to be working in that 8-10' range.
There's a nice article on Walleye Central of what we used and where.

Now that you have a pile of green in your hand you can probably break out and buy a nice pair of Polarized Glasses instead of borrowing mine...... I'm in the middle of writing up a rental invoice for them as we speak. I'll just walk down the street 3 houses and put it in your mailbox. Sound Good ? O |
