Location: Stevens Point, WI | The bite was definitely slower for most today, but a few anglers brought limits to the scales, and Bill Ortiz was one of them...weighing in 14.39# to take the win by almost 6 pounds. Bill mentioned he was 'helped on this one from above', referring to his friend and colleague, Shannon Kehl, who passed away in an accident a few days ago.
Bill was rigging in the wood and brush, sliding his presentation through the timber and enticing the 'eyes out of the wood.
Todd Riley, WalleyeFIRST Iron Man, took second on the strength of three limits and a 14# plus basket today.
