| MY QUESTION IS, HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE IS THEIR BETWEEN THE TWO (4 STR.)
SPEED AND PRICE. I WAS TOLD THAT THE 90 H.P. ON A 17' DEEP VEE WILL RUN 40.3 M.P.H. WITH TWO PEOPLE AND A FULL TANK OF GAS AT W.O.T.
THE 115 H.P. ON THE SAME BOAT WITH TWO PEOPLE AND A FULL TANK WILL RUN AT 41.7 M.P.H AT W.O.T. THE 115 IS ABOUT 40 PDS. HEAVIER AND I WAS TOLD ABOUT A GRAND MORE $$$ THAN THE 90 H.P. ANY MORE INFORMATION ON THIS WOULD BE HELPFULL. I'M SWAYING MORE TOWARDS THE 90 H.P. FOR TROLLING.
I NEED SOME HELP FROM ANYBODY TO FIGURE THIS OUT. I KNOW IT ONLY MAKES SCENCE TO GO WITH THE CHEAPER PRICE BUT I JUST NEED MORE INPUT. |

| Don't cut yourself short for the power BJ. Just about all the guys out there will tell you this. Max out the boat. Me and Zep were talking on Sunday a little about it at perkins. If you can afford it. I would do it. If you decide, there is black you know. They make a good outboard also. Put a Opti on it. |

| go with the 115.... you will be able to play with props and do better than what u think. At least I think anyways...I got 40 mph with the prop the dealer put on my 115 4 stk. Im on my 3rd different prop, but I now get anywhere from 42-45 mph depending on load out of my 115 on a LUND Mr Pike 17. Never short suit yourself when it comes to HP |
