| Yes the 2060 ride is much better on big water due to its overall length, hull design, and the length to width ratio of the hull. |

Location: Appleton, WI | what about lakes like winnebago with a 10-20 mph se wind, you know that 2-3 foot close together wave that knocks the fillings outta your teeth? will the 2060 be that noticable better over a 1890? I currently have a tin can for a ride and are considering a tuffy. I am just starting to look and my first impression of the 1890 is "hhmmm this has potential" but if there will not be any ride improvement over my 19ft lund mabey i'll just forget looking? I did not really want to go longer but my bleeding kidneys are asking for a smother ride. I'm sure any glass boat will ride better than a alum hull but i really dont know because i've never had a glass boat, yet. I guess I should have started a new thread "19ft alum vs 1890 tuffy" |

| I can't speak on the 1890 as I haven't been in one on 'bago, but have spent enough time down there in my 2060 to know I'm glad I opted for the extra length. The biggest thing the extra length does is allow you to span the waves and stay on top when it gets a little rough out there. As I mentioned, I don't have any experience with the 1890 on that body of water, it might be long enough to accomplish this as well. Zach's info about hull design and length/width ratio also aids in the 2060's abillity to perform in the nasty stuff. There are plenty of guys that run the 1890s on 'bago. I'm sure they can help answer your questions as well. When you get closer to making a decision and would like a test drive, contact me and we'll see if we can arrange one. |

| It would be interesting to ride in a 2060. It must really be smooth, I have had my 1890 on Pepin and Mille Lacs in some big wave without getting my butt spanked, it is HUGE differnce over aluminum |

| Big O,
The only difference between the esox and osprey models is the back casting deck. Everything else is the same.
As far as what is better on rough waters, I would have to say the 2060 is the way to go. I have driven both, and currently own the 2060. It is by far the smoothest riding boat I have ever driven. I fish lake winnebago, green bay, and lake michigan and have been out in some pretty tough conditions without taking a serious pounding.

Location: Manitowoc, WI | I also own a 2060 and have to say that the ride is smooth and dry. Of course, if you fish tournaments and are restricted by time, you might loosen a few fillings on top of the waves by pushing it a little over the limit. However, when riding the big stuff properly and taking your time, it is a great ride. |

| The 2060 is a better ride in the really big stuff. I have an 1890, and think it is great on Bago and Green Bay. You won't go wrong with either choice. Both ride way better than a 1900 Lund.
You need a demo ride, give me a shout and we'll get out for a day. |
